Our story began in May 2021, when our fun-loving, matchmaking friend Heather decided that Eric had to meet me. With the Phillies on TV and conversations underway to exchange phone numbers, the wheels were officially in motion for a blind date!

I was a little hesitant at first, but then I thought, Really, what did I have to lose? When I finally reached out to Eric, he invited me to the infamous Trappe Tavern. I couldn’t help but giggle when he asked if I had ever heard of it, considering it was less than a mile from my house!

We met on a Thursday for lunch and libations, and things went well enough that we quickly planned a second date: a trail hike just a few days later.

Fast-forward five years, and we’ve built a life filled with incredible memories. From caring for our fur babies and raising teenagers to family vacations, Friday night “date nights,” home improvements, moves, and renovations, we’ve shared so many adventures along the way. We’ve laughed a lot, accomplished so much, and discovered that life’s biggest adventures feel a little easier and a lot more fun when you have the right person by your side.

On Friday, October 2, 2026, Eric planned another amazing date night, just as he so often does. But this time, he had something extra special up his sleeve: a surprise proposal at the beautiful Winterthur Gardens! Of course, I said yes!

Now, we’re thrilled to begin this next chapter together and invite our favorite people to celebrate our love and commitment.
